Nearly $3,000 Worth Of Brisket Stolen From East Austin BBQ Joint

Austin, yet another Democrat controlled city with a Soros-backed District Attorney, seeing big spikes in crime.

la Barbecue restaurant in East Austin says they’ve been broken to at least 7-times now.

This most recent break-in resulted in 20 briskets taken at a value of nearly $3,000 dollars.

General Manager Alison Clem tells Fox 7 in Austin that at around 4am on Thursday morning a thief hopped a fence and beelined for a smoker. 

The incident was captured on surveillance cameras & lasted approximately 15 minutes. 

She says factoring in labor and seasoning she estimates the briskets cost approximately $3,000, “and that's just raw. That's not even like retail.” 

This is the seventh or eighth time the business has been broken into. However, it is the first time someone has stolen meat.
