Smash & Grab Robbers In Chicago Make Off With $1 Million-Plus In Watches

This is becoming more and more common in these Democrat-machine controlled cities.

Over the weekend, thieves walked into a luxury car showroom to smash display case with a hammer to make off with more than million dollars in watches.

Surveillance video shows the two crooks going into the Gold Coast Exotic Motors dealership just off the Magnificent Mile.

One man went to work smashing a display case with expensive watches while the other man appeared to stand guard.

Dealership owner Joe Perillo tells Fox 32 in Chicago that the man standing guard “…was smart enough not to raise the gun, because my people had guns. If he raised that gun, he would have been shot, we’d probably be in court defending ourselves."

Perillo expressed frustration with the lack of consequences for those apprehended, saying the mayor & (state attorney) Kim Foxx "have to take a firm stand. It is wrong for someone to walk in, break into a place. If they get caught, they get let out.”

He warns that Chicago is at a crossroads regarding these brazen thefts, “if they don't do anything about this, they're going to lose a lot of businesses" within the city.
