Biden Considers Paying $450,000 To Every Illegal Immigrant Over 2018 Policy

So the Biden administration wants every transaction of $600 or more reported to them so the IRS can snoop in your bank account.

Meanwhile, they want to cut $450,000 checks to every illegal immigrant separated from their family in 2018.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

“The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.
The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said. Most of the families that crossed the border illegally from Mexico to seek asylum in the U.S. included one parent and one child, the people said.”

So the bottom line, the Biden Administration wants to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to people who illegal crossed our border to come here. HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS."

Not everyone at the DOJ is on board with the plan, the National Review reports that some are expressing concern about the optics:

"...some government lawyers see the payouts as excessive for illegal immigrants who broke the law by crossing the border, the report says. It added that a government lawyer threatened to remove his name from the case in protest of the potential settlement offer.
A separate Department of Homeland Security attorney involved in the talks expressed concern that the payouts could exceed what some families of 9/11 victims received. However, senior departmental officials rejected the comparison as the U.S. government was not responsible for the terrorist attacks. The 9/11 victim compensation fund averaged awards to the deceased of roughly $2 million, tax-free."

As Rep. Elise Stefanik, the third-ranking Republican in the House, put it:
