Last week, Fox News brought on Dallas Salon Owner Shelley Luther for reaction to Gov. Greg Abbott’s announcement that he was lifting the state mask order and reopening Texas.
Back in 2020, Luther was jailed for defying Abbott’s order by reopening her hair salon.
In the interview she blasts Gov. Abbott, saying it’s “too little, too late...I think it is a political move for him. Everything is political”.
She added that he “...shut businesses down and some will not have the opportunity to reopen."
She says that Abbott should have “let the people choose whether or not they want to patronize a business, he put businesses in a bind when he shut us all down”, noting that he “put me in jail and then spent almost a million-dollar against me when I ran for state senate. What is this man trying to hide.”
