Trump Creates 'Office of the Former President'

The statement from Trump’s office says that the Office of the Former President will be responsible for his "correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities."

In addition, the Office will also "advance the interests of the United States and … carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism."

Trump’s 2020 campaign senior adviser Jason Miller ruled out Trump running in future elections on a third-party ticket.

The Hill reports:

“Trump is expected to reside in Florida, and he is surrounded by a handful of loyal aides. Allies have said Trump is eyeing supporting primary challenges against Republicans who he feels wronged him following his election defeat, such as Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) and House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (Wyo.), who was one of 10 Republicans to vote to impeach Trump earlier this month.”
