During a press conference yesterday, California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom was asked if he say potential in the pandemic to bring in a “new progressive era”.
Newsom filibustered a bit, but ultimately admitted that “yes” this pandemic has given them an opportunity. He said “there is opportunity for reimagining a progressive era as it pertains to capitalism. So yes, absolutely we see this as an opportunity to reshape the way we do business and how we govern.”
As Rahm Emanuel has said about using a crisis to push for Democrat policies.
