The latest numbers out of New Hampshire show Beto at 0% behind Jay Inslee (0.3%), Kirsten Gillibrand (0.7%), Tulsi Gabbard (1%), Cory Booker (1%) and even Marianne Williamson.
In addition, the official 2nd quarter fundraising reports from the Democratic presidential campaigns show Beto barely outraising Washingon Gov. Jay Inslee.Beto brought in just $3.6 million while Inslee raised $3 million.
Beto was outraised by Pete Buttigieg: $24.8 million; Biden: $21.5 million; Warren: $19.1 million; Sanders: $18 million; Harris: Less than $12 million; Booker: $4.5 million and Klobuchar: $3.87 million.
It’s gotten so bad for Beto, his latest campaign strategy is has been to announce that his paternal great-great-great grandfather was slave owner. Beto wrote “I benefit from a system that my ancestors built to favor themselves at the expense of others. We all need to know our own story as it relates to the national story, much as I am learning mine. It is only then, I believe, that we can take the necessary steps to repair the damage done and stop visiting this injustice on the generations that follow ours."
