A surveillance camera shows Morgan using a small ax to break a window of the Exeter Synagogue, the third oldest Synagogue in the UK.He then pour gas and lights it which backfired, the video shows him briefly engulfed in the flames which blew off his cap and singed his hair leaving him with burns to his hands and forehead.
The attack was deliberately done on the day commemorating the Holocaust.
The blaze caused approximately $29,000 worth of damage to the building.
Prosecutors describe Morgan as having a "deep-rooted anti-Semitic belief, embodied in a desire to do harm to the Jewish community and an obsession with abhorrent anti-Semitic material".
