Epstein files are now wide open as DOJ details discovery of powerful figures, more than 1,200 victims and new photos of President Bill Clinton and Epstein.
More than a dozen politically exposed people and government officials' names appear in the hundreds of thousands of pages of Jeffrey Epstein files made public Friday, sources said, according to Fox news.
Sources told Fox News that new photos of Epstein with former President Bill Clinton are part of the release.
The Justice Department redacted the names and identifiers of victims according to the report and the same redaction standards were applied to politically exposed individuals and government officials.
The report says, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the DOJ made the discovery, during an exhaustive review, and explained the process behind determining which files could be released in a letter to Congress exclusively obtained by our affiliates at Fox News.
"We write to notify you that today the Department of Justice is producing hundreds of thousands of pages of responsive materials in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act," Blanche wrote.
The US Department of Justice posted on Twitter:
“President Trump’s DOJ is delivering historic transparency while protecting victims. Democrats could have done this for years. They chose not to. We are keeping our promise to the American people.”
The Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law on Nov 19, 2025, requires the DOJ to release all unclassified Epstein-related records by Dec 19, 2025, with limited redactions allowed only for victim info or active investigations.
