The San Antonio City Council has voted on a measure that moves city elections from May to November.
Supporters of the measure say it will help the city save money, and improve voter turnout for municipal elections.
Opponents are concerned that moving these elections to November will result in a crowded ballot, and voter confusion.
The move was supported by Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones.
