A Houston man is reported in stable condition after being hit by a car, as he slept in his bed.
Police report they had tried to stop a suspect in a stolen vehicle and quickly ended up in a chase. They tried to stop the car using what Lt. Amber Khan called an “approved stopping technique” and the car veered off the road and crashed into a house on Cotton Drive, hitting the victim.
“The suspect actually fled on foot from the scene and tried to evade the officers on foot then,” Khan said. “The officers were able to get the suspect detained,”
The victim is described as a 25 year old man.He was hospitalized and is reported in stable condition.
