Law enforcement are at the scene of a shooting that happened during a robbery of an armored vehicle in west Houston Thursday morning.
Officers at the scene said the robbery occurred near the Bank of America located on Westheimer Road near Old Farm Road at around 11:45 a.m. The robbery involved four gunmen who arrived at the bank in an SUV. One of the four suspects was shot while the other three fled the scene and are still at large.
The severity of the suspect's injuries is unknown. The shooting and robbery is under investigation and the scene is still active.
