President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to restore the FBI, once he returns to office. And there's a warning, that it can't happen soon enough.
"They've pretty much have gone rogue" said investigative reporter and FBI expert, Wendi Strauck Mahoney, "And American's are unaware of it, don't think it's a serious problem. They think it's kind of a one-off, and I think unless we get to the bottom of it and really hold them accountable, I don't know that it's going to stop."
Scary, and true. And now it's going to be up to Trump's pick for new FBI Director, Kash Patel, to lead the charge.
"He absolutely knows it like the back of his hand" Mahoney told KTRH, "Knows the players, knows how it works. I think we stand a good chance, but it's not going to go down without a fight."
It's a fight that needs to happen. She pointed out in American Thinker, that a House Judiciary Committee report found that the FBI has been caught doing illegal surveillance, specifically in banking information, and specifically targeting conservatives.
"It's very, very serious" noted Mahoney, "And if American's wake up to it and take it seriously, we have a better chance. But we've got to get it done, and we've got to be aggressive."
The FBI knows way too much, and too many people know have access to that information.
