Rural Towns Want To Divorce Themselves From Liberal Big Cities

There is a growing trend, that is actually moving forward in California. Rural towns are trying to separate from big blue Democrat run cities.

Think of it as a rural town divorce. Something that Paul Preston envisioned when he founded the New California State.

"Our end goal in all of this is to make California great again, and also to make the new California state at the same time" Preston said.

And it's not just an idea, or crazy political stunt. The group is gaining a lot of momentum and a lot of support, while the Democrat leaders in California continue to fail.

"We won't get this opportunity, but once in American history" Preston told KTRH, "If we don't succeed, you won't have American anymore. It will be gone."

NCS has already spoken with president-elect Donald Trump, and considering the massive debt that California is now in, Preston believes there will be an opening for a split.

"That's the only option that we have" noted Preston, "We have been in contact with the Trump people, and we will become the next state, and we will save the nation."

Under the NCS proposal, the New California State would include almost all of California's 58 counties, while the left would keep most of Los Angeles County, along with parts of San Francisco and Sacramento.

Considering that Trump picked up massive wins in rural areas, we could see more of this across the country.
