In A State Of 30 Million, How Does Texas Have Just 55 Mail Inspectors?

As many people are finding out the hard way, there is no holiday for mail theft, especially here in Texas. And it's something that U.S. Representative, Randy Weber has been trying to deliver on.

"It's absolutely something that needs to be discussed" congressman Weber said, "Things are bigger and better here in Texas, and we've got a really big problem obviously, with our postal system here in Texas."

A big part of the problem is the fact that in a state that now has 30 million people, Texas unbelievably has only -55- postal inspectors. For the entire state.

Congressman Weber has tried to lead the charge for postal reform, but his legislation never got off the ground under the Biden-Harris administration.

"We were at the Missouri City USPS center" Rep. Weber told KTRH, "We went there to find out why the packages weren't getting delivered, why everything was so slow, aren't they looking out for Americans? And we asked to speak to the post-master, and he would not even come out and speak to two members of congress."

On top of that, Weber also has a campaign check stolen, and then washed for $14,000.

As for the theft, most stolen packages are not recovered, but congressman Weber is hoping that Trump's 'DOGE' will help clean up all of the postal problems.
