Could Trump Fix Mainstream Media Bias?

There are a lot of big expectations for the new Trump administration, and one of the top items on their to-do list is to end the left-wing media bias. That bias and censorship is a problem that has become undeniable in recent years.

The Federalist's Matt Kittle told KTRH that the pushback against it has already started. He said, "We have seen a number of lawsuits against corporate media. They've really ratcheted up the game to the point of absolute election interference."

Kittle says that the bias has gotten so bad that in cases of broadcast television companies like ABC and NBC, it may even be criminal. He said, "These are real issues, and real violations of equal time rights with the FCC, and campaign finance laws."

He pointed to instances like Kamala Harris' SNL appearance, and the biased ABC presidential debate, where moderators fact-checked only Donald Trump, despite multiple false statements from Kamala Harris, as something that FCC Chairman nominee Brendan Carr should look into. Kittle said, "Carr has very much signaled that he was not happy with how things have gone in this election cycle in particular."

But despite the likely reforms to institutions like the FCC and other government regulators, Kittle doesn't think that mainstream media outlets will ever be able to regain the credibility that they've lost over the last several years.
