A man is in custody in connection to the assault of an 80-year-old disabled veteran in north Harris County.
Anthony Ray Boyce, 57, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury for the attack on Earl Hollins. It happened on Friday afternoon in the 1400 block of West FM 1960 at the Food Town grocery store.
Court documents state that Boyce and Hollins were familiar with each other and that Boyce had struck Hollins over a parking spot.
Hollins remains in critical condition. He was flown from Houston Northwest Medical Center to Kingwood Hospital following the altercation, which continues to be investigated.
