It is 'Black Friday', and now 'strike' Friday for Amazon employees, who have begun their work stoppage on the busiest shopping weekend of the year.
Amazon workers in 20 countries, including the U.S. say they are walking today through 'Cyber Monday', as part of a strike they are calling "Make Amazon Pay", hoping for increased wages and improved working conditions.
Amazon, which is now the largest retailer in the world, has defended the treatment of it's workers, claiming to provide great pay, great benefits, and great opportunities.
We'll have to see if the strike leads to any major delays in holiday deliveries for customers, with no word yet on how many workers plan to strike in the U.S., and here in Texas.
