A political Thanksgiving turkey, as the president of Mexico now says her country will -not- close it's borders, just hours after Donald Trump announced a major victory when he said the Mexican president vowed to do the exact opposite, and -stop- illegal aliens from coming into the U.S.
In a post on X, Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum said, “In our conversation with President Trump, I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon, respecting human rights, Thanks to this, migrants and caravans are assisted before they arrive at the border,” she wrote, “We reiterate that Mexico’s position is not to close borders but to build bridges between governments and between peoples.”
This is a developing story.
