An investigation is underway after a 16-year-old was found shot in a barn in Tomball early this morning. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says that the shooting was believed to be the result of an accidental discharge.
Officers were called to the scene around 3:30am, and the victim was pronounced dead by EMS at the scene shortly after. HSCO's homicide division has now taken over the ongoing investigation.
