The Numbers Show Younger Americans Are Less Religious

While we learned that America has become more 'red' from this election, a new survey from Rasmussen Reports found that young Americans are now less religious.

"Less than half (48 percent) of young Americans say they are religious, including 17 percent who say they are very religious", said Katherine Hamilton, political reporter at Breitbart, "This just adds to a growing body of surveys that show young people increasingly becoming less religious."

It's Americans under 40 who are becoming less religious, and most are women. As for why?

"As a member of Gen Z myself, there is just a strong emphasis on self and maybe a lack of accountability" Hamilton told KTRH, "If you can not answer to anybody, then you can create whatever world you want."

Sadly, many on the left believe in a world where the party is God.

"You see that with abortion politics, you see that with the gender ideology, that people just want to live their own truth even though there is only one truth" noted Hamilton, "And so, that kind of attitude has really taken hold with younger people."

A Gallup poll found that young people and leftists are most likely -not- to believe in God. But there is hope that might change, when Trump returns to office next year.
