Not only did Texas turn more 'red' this past election, there was also a huge shift this time around among Latino voters.
One of the reason's why was because of a grassroots effort from several Hispanic pastors and faith leaders across the state.
"Yes, and not even for political reasons, for the Kingdom reasons" said Richard Vega, who serves as a pastor here in Southeast Houston, "We worked tirelessly with churches and ministries all over the state."
And their years-long work paid off in a big way, as not only was their massive support for Donald Trump, but we saw several judicial gains here in Harris County, as well as six districts in South Texas that flipped red.
"Absolutely" Vega told KTRH, "It feels really good finally being able to see the results, just seeing the communities across the state make that shift, supporting what I like to say is their Biblical values."
The bottom line is, the overwhelming majority of Latino voters here in Texas simply do not agree with Democrat policies.
