Donald Trump used Monday to announce a flurry of cabinet picks for his administration, and another came down Monday night.
Multiple reports, including from FOX News, say that Trump has picked Florida Senator Marco Rubio as his next Secretary of State.
That came after a tweet from Florida Senator Rick Scott congratulating Rubio, who has been in the Senate since 2010.
He has been known for his hawkish stances on both China and Iran and has previously called for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
On Monday, Trump also named New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik as the United Nations Ambassador. He also tabbed former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin as leader of the Enviornmental Protection Agency, Florida Congressman Mike Waltz as his National Security Advisor, and his longtime advisor Stephen Miller as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy.
