Public Support Of Trump More On Display This Election

Conservatives aren't shying away from their support of former president Donald Trump.

There are plenty of Trump/Vance yard signs, flags and merch on display when driving down the road and in the community. People aren't as hesitant to go public with their support of the Republican candidate as perhaps in previous elections.

Christian Collins, President of the Texas Youth Summit, said after four years of bad border policy, foreign policy and inflation caused by the Biden-Harris administration, the American people have had enough and want to express their desire for change.

"We're looking at a nation that's in decline," he said. "We're not going to have country unless we speak out."

The endorsements of significant public figures like Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., two people, among the many, who said they used to be Democrats and have now backed Trump, have encouraged the "little guy" to step out and up in their support for Trump in the race for the White House.

"He's building the broadest coalition I have ever seen and we have not seen something like this maybe ever," said Collins.

Recent polls have Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris in the state of Texas anywhere from five to 11 points. Collins said the support for Trump stretches all throughout the greater Houston area and the state, not just in the typical places that are historically red.

"People recognize that based on the policies, Donald J. Trump is the best person for the job," Collins said.

Also, Trump is doing well with every demographic. According to Collins, Trump is up 49% to 39% with Hispanics.
