The DEA Houston division, along with D.A. Kim Ogg, announced a major drug bust in North Houston. Two illegal aliens from Mexico were arrested.
"This is a significant large amount of drugs, seized yesterday and taken off the streets of Houston" Ogg said during the news conference.
Houston DEA special agent, Daniel Comeaux said the raid went down at a duplex.
"So the innocent neighbors next door did not know that a meth lab was next door" Comeaux said, "Those labs are like ticking bombs, they can explode at any second and kill innocent people."
But not anymore, as the bust brought in quite a haul.
"We seized approximately 80 gallons of liquid methamphetamine, and approximately 31 kilos of methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately $2 million dollars" noted Comeaux.
So far this year, they've cleaned about 25 meth labs in Houston.
