It's About Time To Officially Abolish FEMA

With Hurricane Milton bearing down on Florida, the criticism continues for the Biden-Harris administration, and the botched handling after Hurricane Helene.

Many believe the time has come to abolish FEMA.

"We should abolish FEMA because it's ineffective" said Paul Bosakowski, a retired project manager who lives in the Southeast, "Outage is a good reason, accountability no longer seems to exist anywhere within the federal government."

Which is why FEMA and DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas are being taken to task, after Mayorkas admitted that FEMA funds are no longer there because they were given to illegal immigrants.

So what should the federal government do? It's simple. Give the money to the states, and get out of the way.

"The only the thing that the government should do is make funds available, so they can do their work so much better and more effectively and efficiently than the federal government can" Bosakowski told KTRH, "Because of all the red tape."

In the meantime, FEMA has been prioritizing equity over helping those in need.
