Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Calls for CenterPoint CEO Jason Wells’ Resignation

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick appeared at a CenterPoint public workshop in Houston and called for the board to recommend that CEO Jason Wells resign.

This follows what many feel was a botched response by the energy provider to Hurricane Beryl in July.

The storm knocked power out for two million customers, many of whom did not get reconnected for days and even weeks. CenterPoint executives got themselves in even more hot water by defending their response.
