Corporate media and Hollywood seeing big layoffs after years of Left bias

Hollywood and most corporate news media outlets, like CNN or MSNBC, have been slanting clearly Left for quite some time. Every story you see on there either relates to the climate change agenda, something anti-Donald Trump, or a fluff piece praising Joe Biden for sitting on a beach in Delaware. It is not some secret conspiracy either, most Americans have started seeing through the charade as well.

Hollywood has been guilty of the same, pushing narratives like transgender ideologies in movies and cartoons. As they continue beating that same drum, they are now seeing layoffs hit both industries hard. The Los Angeles Times recently reduced their newsroom staff by over 20 percent, and Time Magazine laid off 15 percent of their workforce.

Joseph Vasquez of the Media Research Center says this is because the public knows they are not getting the facts from them.

"There was a survey last year...it found that trust in the media was at an all-time low...the number who trusted it was around 30 percent...which is abysmal," he says.

In just the last twelve months, around 500 journalist positions have been eliminated across the industry.

Massive media like CNN did not escape the blow either, as they announced an almost three percent staff reduction this year. After years of getting away with biased coverage and political pushes, the chickens have come home to roost.

"It was only a matter of time before it started affecting their bottom lines," he says. "All these layoffs we are seeing at the Leftist media empires is all a result of catering to their own political biases, rather than delivering straight news to the people."

Another factor in it all is that people just do not read or watch the news anymore. Social media has made it where any breaking story is usually broken on there before actual news outlets. People are seeking out alternative resources, and that is because they know they are being fed false information.

But you will notice something in all of this. None of the places mentioned among big media include places like FOX News. Why is that? Well, because they have established a balance, even if they do cater to a more Conservative audience.

"Regardless of whatever the Left says, they do have people on there with left-wing perspectives and are a little more balanced...they have found a successful medium," says Vasquez.

It seems the Liberal agenda pushing has come to haunt the media, and it is a ghost they manifested themselves.
