Iran Launches Retaliatory Missile Strike Against Israel

Last night Israel began a ground force initiative, and now Iran has launched a missile attack on Israel in response to the Israeli attack on Hezbollah headquarters.

The U.S. said earlier today that it had indications that an attack from Iran was imminent.

The White House told Fox News that “this morning, President Biden convened a meeting with Vice President Harris and their national security team to discuss Iranian plans to imminently launch a significant ballistic missile attack against Israel.

“They reviewed the status of U.S. preparations to help Israel defend against these attacks and protect U.S. personnel in the region,” the White House added.

Tensions in the Middle East continue. Israeli forces started a limited, localized ground operation targeting the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah.

The ground operation comes after the IDF's successful attacks against Hezbollah over the weekend, when several of the organization's key figures were killed.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was one of the most notable fatalities. The Israeli military also confirmed that Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s Central Council.

Meanwhile, earlier today in Washington, Joe Biden expressed disapproval over the IDF's imminent ground operations, calling for a ''ceasefire now".

This is a developing story.
