Israel Confirms Death of Hezbollah Leader in Beirut Airstrike

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the death of Hezbollah terrorist organization leader Hassan Nasrallah.

IDF said Nasrallah was killed in a Friday airstrike on a suburb of Lebanon's capital city, Beirut. According to Lebanon's health ministry, at least two other people were killed and dozens were wounded. This strike comes after Israel also killed one of the top leaders of Hamas in Syria.

In a statement from IDF made on X, they said "Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be bale to terrorize the world." The IDF called Nasrallah Hezbollah's central decision-maker and strategic leader. They said Nasrallah was responsible for the murder of many Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Hezbollah also released a statement following the airstrike, confirming the death of their terror chief.
