National Security Experts Say The U.S. Is Unprepared For Major War

As the conflict continues to ramp up in the Middle East, and tensions continue to rise across the globe, some national security experts are issuing a stark warning: The U.S. is not prepared for a major war.

"While we fought a lot of proxy wars like Vietnam, and obviously the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, we haven't had any sort of major war against another country that has a comparable military" said Harry Kazianis, executive director with the National Interest.

But ready or not, the chances of the U.S. entering into a major war are legit.

"it is a legit threat" Kazianis told KTRH, "And I would point you right to the war in Ukraine. The threat of a war is real, and that threat is very real before we get a new president."

The bottom line, right now our U.S. military doesn't have the right technology, and we are short on equipment and personnel.
