According to the Houston Police Department, Kyliel Denzel Arceneaux, 21, is in custody and has been charged with the murder of 90-year-old Navy veteran Nelson Beckett.
Beckett was murdered Saturday during a carjacking right outside his assisted living apartment building.
Arceneaux is currently charged with capital murder, along with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.
It has now been confirmed by additional sources to KTRH that Arceneaux was out on bond for another crime.
