Mattress Mack has been released from Saint Luke's following a cellulitis diagnosis. Mack had been in the hospital since Saturday after suffering cognitive issues.
In a text to KTRH, Mack said, ":Yes, got out thankfully. Now back to work."
Mack says he knew something was wrong on his drive into work.
"I drove to work and it was the first time in 43 years I missed the exit," he said. "That should have told me something was wrong."
“They’re taking great care of me, trying to figure out why I had this massive swelling in my leg with all this red rash all over it. And why I had memory loss the other day,”
Mack continued to post updates online throughout his stay. He now says he's taking medication for the infection, and expects it to go away soon. He plans to be back at work at Gallery Furniture today.
