Kamala Harris formally accepted the Democratic nomination for President at the DNC yesterday. In her acceptance speech, she once again attempted to distance herself from her record as VP and portray herself as a moderate, tough-on-crime Democrat.
She repeatedly pledged to be tough on the border, yet made no mention of the fact that, as border czar, she has allowed the border to remain completely open.
Trump responded by taking to X to highlight Kamala Harris's actual record as Vice President, pointing out that two major wars have broken out while she was in office, and she has a long history of opposing American energy dominance.
Trump then spoke to Newsmax and called on Harris to close the border immediately, rather than waiting until January. He said, "She can close the border very easily...I didn't have a bill, I didn't ask for a bill. I closed the border."
Trump was on the ground in Arizona, speaking with victims of the border crisis. He was joined by the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, who was murdered by illegal aliens earlier this year in North Houston, as well as the mother of Rachel Morin, who was killed by illegal aliens in Maryland.
