As Kamala Harris continues to hide from even friendly press, former President Donald Trump joined tech mogul and free speech absolutist Elon Musk for a wide-ranging, free-form interview on X.com, which has now racked up over 130 million views.
The interview was delayed, thanks to what Musk attributed to a Distributed Denial of Service cyberattack. Musk said at the beginning of the interview that there had been an attempt to overload X servers with bots, which resulted in the interview starting nearly an hour late. Nearly 2 million people still wound up watching the interview live.
Once the interview finally kicked off, Trump took the opportunity to bash Harris for hiding from all manner of press. Trump said, "It's pretty sad when you think that somebody that does this for a living can't answer a question or is afraid to do an interview, and in her case, with a very friendly interview. She's got all friendly interviewers."
Trump also went after Kamala's record, refuting her recent claims that she is, in fact, a moderate candidate. He said, "She is considered more liberal, by far, than Bernie Sanders. She's a radical-left lunatic. And if she's going to be our president, very quickly you're not going to have a country anymore. And she'll go back to all the things that she believes in. She believes in defunding the police. She believes in no fracking, zero."
Trump also addressed Joe Biden's surprise exit from the presidential race, saying the Democrat elites forced Biden out. He said, "This was a coup. This was a coup of a president of the United States. He didn't want to leave, and they said, 'We can do it the nice way, or we can do it the hard way.'"
