The Latest On The Bid-Rigging Case Against The Ex-Staffers Of Lina Hidalgo

It's been over 3 months since outgoing D.A. Kim Ogg handed over to AG Ken Paxton, the $11 million dollar Covid bid-rigging case against the ex-staffers of Harris County Judge, Lina Hidalgo.

"There are many questions circling around the County Judge's office, because there were new search warrants issued that indicated there was a lot more involvement beyond the 3 staffers that have already been indicted" said Holly Hansen, reporter with The Texan.

But in the meantime, the latest update is, hurry up and wait.

"It's all going to be up to the AG's office now, and their investigators" Hansen told KTRH, "We will all just have to still wait until the Attorney General's office returns with some results."

Regardless of when the next move happens, by DA Ogg handing over the case to AG Paxton, this ensures that the case will not be swept under the rug. Even after Ogg leaves office in January.
