According to reports, Republican leaders are warning fellow GOP party members against using overtly racist and sexist attacks against Kamala Harris.
The Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, Richard Hudson urged fellow members not to focus on why she was hired. Many Republicans are pushing back, calling that a DEI lie.
"You have a party that won't grow a spine and tell the public the truth" said political strategist, Matt Locke, "Joe Biden told us that Kamala Harris -is- a DEI hire." That is the truth.
So why are so many Republicans afraid, to speak the truth?
"I honestly believe that Republicans think that if they come out and attack a woman of color, they will be deemed as racist" Locke told KTRH.
In the meantime, that game plan hasn't stopped former president Donald Trump, and his comments.
"She was hired because of the pigment of her skin, and because of her sexual organ" noted Locke, "So, now it's off limits to talk about what the Democrats have already told you is the truth?"
The truth is, Republicans should not be afraid to speak the truth.
