July 4th beachgoers at South Padre Island stumbled into a real-life 'Jaws' situation on Thursday.
Four people were bitten by what officials believe is the same shark. Two suffered minor injuries. The conditions of the other two bite victims is unknown.
Officials believe that the same shark was responsible four all four attacks; that the shark was close to the shore because of wind conditions. They also believe that these were not attacks but more "investigative" bites, and that when the shark figured out these were people, it let go. But, the damage was already done.
