Hurricane season is picking up pace in the Gulf of Mexico. As Hurricane Beryl strengthens to a category four, a third smaller tropical depression has formed inside the gulf.
Tropical Storm Chris made landfall early Monday morning 74 miles southeast of Tuxpan in Mexico
It is currently expected to make landfall on the east coast of Mexico on Sunday evening and move inland on Monday. The system currently does not pose any threat to the United States.
