ICE Arrests 8 People With Possible Ties To ISIS

ICE agents and U.S. Immigration have arrested eight immigrants across the US that have suspected ties to ISIS.

They were taken into custody in New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, and all arrived in the country after crossing the southern border.

According to reports, the men were on the radar of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force due to their potential ties to ISIS.

“Over the last few days, ICE agents arrested several non-citizens pursuant to immigration authorities,” a joint statement from the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI said. “The actions were carried out in close coordination with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces. The individuals arrested are detained in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.”

FBI Director Christopher Wray has said repeatedly that the terror threat risk here in the U.S. is at an all-time high. Meanwhile, for the last 3 and a half years, Joe Biden and his administration have said that the border is secure, and nothing to worry about.
