GOP Senators Demand Answers From Biden Administration On EV Credits

The Biden administration continues their push for EV's, doing so maybe even illegally.

A group of Republican Senators led by Florida's Rick Scott, are demanding answers about new rules that are giving EV's 7 times the regulatory credits they should be.

"Those credits are being paid for by buyer's of gasoline vehicles" said Brent Bennett, policy director with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, "And that's the point of the letter that the Senator's sent to try to get some transparency on how much is this actually costing."

It's a lot more than just a $7,500 tax credit, but it's a credit that we are all paying for.

"The fuel economy credits and the existing greenhouse gas regulations from the EPA, are creating a subsidy for electric vehicles that exceeds $20,000 dollars" Bennett told KTRH.

Actually, right now the average EV subsidy is over $27,000, and ends up over $50,000 during the life of the vehicle.

The GOP Senators aren't expecting an answer from the Biden administration before the election, but this exposure of the truth is definitely a blow to the left's EV fantasy.
