Donald Trump's defense team is now preparing to make their case in his Hush Money Trial, but how did the prosecution fare in presenting theirs? While they may not secure a conviction against the former President, all is not lost for them.
Political consultant Vlad Davidiuk told KTRH, "In a very effective way, they've been able to sideline him significantly compared to how he ran his campaign in 2016 and 2020." Davidiuk says that was the primary goal of this case anyway.
He says this case underscores the politically biased nature of the lawfare against Trump. He said, "It's clearly evident in every single one of these cases, that the primary motivating factor for each of these prosecutions is political in nature."
Davidiuk says that the facts of the case indicate that even if there is somehow a conviction, it will likely be overturned immediately upon appeal.
