Dems Plan To Revive Border Bill Rejected By Republicans Ahead Of Election

With Joe Biden's plummeting poll numbers, desperate Democrats are reportedly planning to revive the infamous 'Senate border bill', the same one that was roundly rejected by Republicans.

"I think it's a sign of the Democrats feeling vulnerable on the immigration issue" said Jessica Vaughan, Director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, "Feeling like they need to be able to score some political points, or at least to try to do that."

Not only have Republicans pushed back against the bill, but former president Trump has opposed it from day one. The Democrats know this, they know the border is big issue for them, but they don't care.

"I testified at a hearing last week in Washington, and the Democrats just want to try to deflect attention away from the disaster at the border" Vaughan told KTRH, "They know that voters aren't happy with the situation, but they actually are happy with the way things have gone."

At the end of the day, this is vintage hypocrisy from Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer.

"He knows that this bill is a non-starter, that it maybe wouldn't even get out of the Senate" noted Vaughan, "And he needs to show that Democrats are trying to do something about this border disaster."

The Senate bill itself would also be a disaster. The Dems proposed plan would codify 'catch and release', while allowing 4,000 illegals into the country every single day.
