Storms are pushing through the Houston area.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced in social media that he has deployed emergency response resources across Texas in preparation for the projected intense thunderstorms around the state.
“Texans are urged to monitor weather conditions, make an emergency plan, and heed the guidance of state and local officials,” Abbott’s post said.
