More workplaces are requiring employees to provide biometric data in order to enter their workplaces, access computer networks and be able to do their jobs. So, how secure should employees feel about their employers having their biometric data?

Travis Crabtree, privacy attorney, says that there are laws in Texas that obligate employers to safeguard our data and to provide protections for employees. However, individual employers can't bring actions against employers, but must rely on the Texas Attorney General to do so.
