The Israeli military is planning to evacuate over a million Palestinians in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained the evacuations by saying it was not possible to both eliminate Hamas and leave behind "four Hamas battalions in Rafah."
Many in Rafah are refugees from other parts of Gaza that were bombed out in the Israel-Hamas war. It's uncertain where the evacuees will go.
The U.S. State Department warns the plan could be a "disaster."
