The busing of illegal aliens has been the most effective way for Texas to bring attention to the border crisis. So, how's the program doing now? Well, the buses are still rolling, and they have had the desired effects by and large.
Former State Senator Don Huffines spoke with KTRH, saying, "I think it's changed a lot of the discourse and the conversation. It's making all these major liberal cities into border cities."
Huffines did say that there is some room for improvement. He thinks we need to expand the program out to more cities, including smaller left-wing cities, and also put more effort into getting buses into the suburban areas of major sanctuary cities like New York and Los Angeles— you know, the places where the elites who push these policies actually live.
Greg Abbott announced Wednesday that Texas had reached the milestone of over 100,000 illegal immigrants bused into sanctuary cities.
