"Take Back Our Border" Convoy Holds Rally Near Eagle Pass Today

Faith and community leaders are in Eagle Pass in advance of the arrival of the God's Army or "Take Back Our Border" convoy.

At a press conference Friday, the leaders say messages that support racism and violence are at odds with Christian and democratic values.

The convoy of about 50 vehicles from Virginia was in Dripping Springs on Thursday where the group was entertained by musician Ted Nugent and heard from former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin.

The Maverick County Sheriff's Office says the processing facility in Eagle Pass was evacuated in response to convoy concerns.
