New Houston Mayor John Whitmire is happy with the city's response to the current winter blast we're getting. With one exception.

During an interview with Jimmy Barrett and Shara Fryer on Houston's Morning News, the mayor said he was disappointed in airport operations.

"Last night, nobody was able to move out of the airport," Whitmire said. "I'm disappointed. United blames the city. The city blames United."

Whitmire, ho took office on January 1st, said there's no excuse for this, and that there will be consequences.

"You'll see some changes real soon. The airport is not functioning as well as it should," he said.
