As expected by recent polls, Former President Donald Trump has been projected as the winner of the Iowa Caucuses this evening. The call in the race, first reported by FOX News and NBC, came about 30 minutes after the polls opened in the Hawkeye State.
Trump was the heavy favorite entering the night. Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley are in a tight battle for second place.
Vivek Ramaswamy is polling at a distant fourth.
